Very different indeed but an way to learn

This book has some information about that is fantastic for next generation of Magicians.. If you can read between the lines you see number of new ideas that will come to your mind and yes as you read it. It sounds strange and to easy but the quality close up will open your mind. To never see befor effects. I will say it must have book to read to help others to understand the basics of creating natural effect from doing nothing at all!

The great thing about this book is that each effect is easy to read and comprehend and well thought through for impact. John Carey is able to communicate in 2 or 3 short pages what takes other books 5 or more. I love the performance tips and suggested patter that is often left out of other books. The book contains 87 effects. Around 10 of them are coin effects. One uses a Sven pad and has a video link. There are 3 contributed by Phill Smith. It's also refreshing to see his crediting and personality show through. He even has a type of anniversary waltz that uses no gaffs.. This is more than a pick it, return it and I'll find it book as there are many varied plots. The use of a table in many effects doesn't bother me as I can alter parts for stand up and walk around. Next to Bannon's books, this is my current favorite!
