Fractalicious - Packet Tricks

The amount of content you get from this is absolutely amazing. Both Chop Shop and Spin Doctor are daily carries for me now and they crush EVERY TIME.

I'm always on the lookout for new packet tricks to carry around and show off to friends and family. This is a great collection of 8 packet tricks that comes with everything you need. A great buy!

Another brilliant packet trick, from 2 of the best, recommend everyone to buy it, thanks

If mostly into John Bannon's Self-Working DVDs and tricks - such as the Move 0 Set - which is awesome, this dvd is a nice addition as it covers packet tricks instead of the usual full routines usually to seen. The packet tricks require more sleight-style handling, although when used to handling small packets this is much easier than (say) DL or Triple Lifts with a full deck. It just takes a bit of time getting used to holding virtually no cards, adjusting grip, etc.

You may well prefer to do packet tricks, as they pack punch in less time. A possible downside for the performer is remembering the sequence of moves, which may also be tough with a regular full deck self-working trick anyway. The good news is that there are only 5 tricks covered on the DVD - not too many or too much to remember - while also killer routines so no need for more.

Plus there's a basic brilliant Bannon packet move useful to several tricks and fully explained. I doubt you'll find it elsewhere - certainly not in his Move 0 dvds.

For Bannon's earlier work in card magic, decades ago, which was more sleight-based with a full deck, check out his Smoke & Mirrors DVD too.

With Move 0, the current offering, and Smoke and Mirrors, you don't need to follow many other magicians if his style suits yours.

With the reviewed item, the packet move taught can also be used to help you make your own packet tricks if inclined to invent rather than just learn existing tricks. With all the sources mentioned, there's the "high glory-to-pain" ratio that Bannon enjoys with his clever card magic that can nearly beat the best of sleights without moves (thinking mostly Move 0). For those more advanced with sleights, you will enjoy Smoke & Mirrors too. For any Bannon fan, who who likes a presentation by Liam, the packet tricks DVD reviewed is also awesome.

Can't lose with this one.

Great to be able to do both types of card magic described.

As an avid packet trick performer I should have bought this long ago. Excellent selection of tricks. And they end clean ("fractal" in Bannon terms). The special set of cards is also a big plus. If you like packet tricks get this! Brainiac and Spin Doctor in particular are ... how do we say it? .... Awesome!

Haven't got through all the tricks but this collection is superb

If you enjoy packet tricks, and if you enjoy John Bannon, the Fractalicious DVD is certainly a terrific place to begin.'You get much more than just a single trick, unlike the individual releases of packet tricks like "Twisted Sisters" or "Spin Doctor".'Five specially made gaffs help complete the package, and with seven tricks to choose from, you're bound to find something that you'll like.'Even those who don't normally care for packet tricks might find themselves surprised, given the consistent strength of the routines, and the fact that you end each trick clean.

It's rare that something from John Bannon disappoints, and Fractalicious is no exception.'This continues the high standard of card magic he's released previously, now applied to the "fractal" of packet tricks.'It may not be self-working like his Move Zero series, but it is still very accessible for the typical amateur, who will find themselves being able to learn and enjoy these entertaining routines without too much difficulty.'And in combination with the excellent production values from Big Blind Media, Fractalicious is another winner, and should be welcomed by anyone who likes performing card magic.

Typical Bannon product which met my expectations of quality, hard-hitting tricks with everything needed to perform. Serious bang for buck magic.

If you are into packet tricks this is definitely for you

Brilliant Dvd, gaff cards included, although once you learn the routines you will be making many of your own packet tricks I'm sure, so many possibilities and variations once you've learnt these routines. The cards supplied are top class, and they are now always in my wallet so I'm ready to amaze when the classic 'oh you're a magician, show us a trick then' is thrown at me. Great buy and great service from the guys at BBM as always.

Another superb dvd with an excelant range of very quick and
commercial effects. Would recomend this as well worth perchasing. Thankyou.

Nice product, great value. Teaches you so much, loads of routines in one packet trick.
