An approach to Triumph I've never seen

A very interesting approach to the Triumph plot, unlike anything I've seen before. Biz has come up with a way of shuffling F/U cards into F/D that leaves no question that they are--first time I saw the video, I couldn't figure out how he could possibly straighten out the deck: the cards are fairly mixed, ribbon spread, and the spread is closed. It really is that clean. Then he does a swivel cut, and the deck is back to its original condition. Just-like-that.

He does an excellent job of explaning what has to be done, and why. And it's performer's view, camera over his shoulder (as all videos should be) so the process is easy to follow.

You're going to need a close-up mat, and it would probably help to be seated, at least until you're comfortable with it. (Not that lapping's involved.) It's more than worth the work required. While I certainly wouldn't do two Triumph-type tricks in the same set, it would be nice to have a second one around for a different time, and I guarantee that once people see the spread here, with the cards F/U and F/D, you won't have to say a word. They'll convince themselves. I'm glad I bought this.

Nice False Shuffle

This, like most any false shuffle will take practice to get it working smoothly. That said, it looks very good for the Triumph routines Biz teaches on the video.
