The magician places a deck of cards on the table, and proposes an experiment in imagination.

The spectator is asked to imagine the four suits and to pluck one out of the air (they don’t have to select either red or black, they just pluck one out of the air).

Once the suit is selected, the spectator is asked to name any value (no force whatsoever).

The magician spreads the deck, displaying all blank faces with one reversed card in the middle of them. The card is turned over and revealed to be the spectator’s thought of card.

No rough and smooth.

No sticky stuff.

No thin cards.

Only 52 cards used.

I am a 85 O.A.P. & retired magician.
Still performing close up for family and friends.
This is the perfect imagination deck.
For it is not only very baffling but also very easy to do.
All the different routines are brilliant.
But I prefer the routine not using a D.B.
Instead I reverse a blank card above short card.
When spreading to show all blanks & back of one card.
I then do a very easy double turnover & remove card.
NOTE! If you wish, spread on table to show all blank cards.

This one effect is an amazing up date on a club classic magician pub effect. That has wow people all over the world! An amazing idea from the 1890's with a new look this new prime example of a odd single card! Has wish that has change the effect to a new level! Loner is the best they that the new generation of mentalists will love have in any box set of cards magic tricks you can not go wrong! It super cute and easy!

This is a great trick! Cameron Francis has given us a trick that is easy to do and packs a whollope. I play trumpet in a band. We have been together since 2009. I do a magic trick at the end of every rehearsal. (That is a trick almost every week for 12 years). The band said "loner" was one of the best tricks they had seen. You need this trick.

This is an amazing effect

Just got this today and am very pleased with it. Great method and the performance is exactly as shown in the trailer. I chose this effect over another similar one, which Cameron mentions as being part of his inspiration, as the performance is so clean and unambiguous with no suspicious moves. I think it will fool magicians as well as laymen. Highly recommended.
