Oiater by Tom Dobrowolski - Video Download

4 reviews

A BBM EXCLUSIVE DOWNLOAD VIDEO Tom's Oil & Water routine is an absolute beaut! Multi phase, regular deck, achievable with simple sleights and a kicker that is TOTALLY NEXT LEVEL!

"Man, am I impressed with this Oil and Water routine.  The routine is great and the kicker ending is just mind blowing.  And, when I learned how to do it, I just laughed out loud.  Yes, I was fooled by the kicker and I have to say, I love it!" 9/10 Straight Talk Magic Reviews

Most Oil & Water's use a small packet of cards, but Tom's finishes with the ENTIRE DECK SEPERATING! Originally published in 2009, this is the refined, perfected version of an absolute next-level routine, and it could be the only Oil & Water you'll ever need.

* Use any deck (even borrowed)

* Multiphase

* Minimal setup required

* No gaffs or gimmicks needed

This will decimate any audience, but Tom also has a lot of fun performing this at conventions for magicians - and, once you've learnt it, you can too!

This is an excellent effect. I think I will add it to what I do. I found the instructions clear and entertaining. I would recommend this effect.

Solid Trick

I admit I often think of oil and water as magicians routines. We love them, lay people, I'm not sure. At any rate this is a very solid method, no gaffs or sticky stuff, etc., just a regular deck. I was fooled by the final when I watched the performance video, it is very clever. On the performance video I think the deck goes out of site for a second so you may think a switch is involved but there is not. The initial separation packet phases can be done from a shuffled deck in use but the final of course requires a set up. Skill range is low intermediate. It is not self working but quite straight forward. Teaching is good, no frills but clear. I will try it out and see if how it goes for "real people"
