The spectator cuts off a packet of cards, counts them and then remembers the letter in the alphabet at that number. You then proceed to sing the alphabet together with everyone and your spectator remembers the card at their letter.
The selection then is shown to have vanished from the deck, only for it to appear face up later in the deck held by the audience!
