Leo Calvino is a brazilian multidisciplinary artist dedicated to music, circus, dance, theater, martial arts and magic. He directs, alongside Joana Couto, the artistic company Cerca Trova where he creates performative shows envolving all those disciplines. Their last creations were "Apneia", focused on dance and magic, and "Budô", focused on dance and martial arts. Outside Cerca Trova, he cocreates shows with other artists such as Uatumã Fattori, Dídac Gilabert, Teresa Santos and Nico Pires.
Leo also work as interpreter, dramaturg, light designer and creation consultant since 2019 for other creators such as Catarina Miranda, José Pereira (Zé Mágico), Joclécio Azevedo, Teresa Prima and Aldara Bizarro.
