Easy to do; impromptu; borrowed stuff; no elaborate gimmicks; very little, if any, set up; surely all that adds up to mean that the effects themselves must be pretty weak, right? WRONG. I cannot recommend this release highly enough. There are some VERY easy effects here; but do NOT interpret easy/simple to mean that they lack the wow factor. If anything, because they can be so impromptu - just borrow a piece of paper and a pen, and the chances are your audience's expectations will probably be quite low - which makes the impact of these effects all the more powerful. If you've ever thought about adding a little variety to your act - say, mix in some elastic bands among your usual card and coin stuff, just for a change - then the five-phase elastic band routine in this collection is all you need. Do one phase, do all five, but what an impact! Each effect is performed, with the assistance of two more of BBM's seemingly endless supply of glamorous assistants, and then JC explains the workings, alongside Liam Montier. JC delivers in his distinctive laid-back, streamlined style, and everything is very clearly shown and very clearly displayed. Read the blurb - impromptu/easy/borrowed - it means it would be very easy to overlook and underestimate this release: do NOT. You - and your audiences - will be seriously missing out otherwise. This is a superb collection.
