A new take on the classic Magic Square! This is a tribute to Leonardo da Vinci and the book "The Power of Numbers" from his friend Luca Pacioli.

The spectator examines the cards carefully. Then shuffles and cuts the deck. After this process, you clearly deal cards onto the table in a square formation.

Your spectator chooses four cards by cutting the deck and deciding where to take those four cards from. You add up the values of those four cards to get a total.

The cards on the table form a magic square that adds up to the chosen number in every direction imaginable.

Finally you reveal that everything was predetermined. You describe some other mysterious coincidences around Da Vinci and the chosen number. For the kicker ending you show the backside of the illustration and that it is a photo with the exact same magic square.

This routine doesn't require any sleight of hand, it works every single time and the cards can be examined cut and even shuffled by the spectator!

Renaissance Square

This looks like a great effect. I wouldn't know. The download repeatedly failed to work on my phone and on my laptop, pausing permanently - with wonderful irony - at the point where the guy's talking about 'let's get into it'. I repeatedly voiced my displeasure to big blind media. They sent me a reply which didn't help, since when I've heard nothing, after another email. Like I say ' great effect. One which has left me longing for those distant days of a DVD I could actually put in and play.
Or even, God forbid, written instructions.

Renaissance Square

I like magic squares I have also a magic square with cards wich I found in a book Japan Ingenious by Richard Kaufman.
But this one is different because at the end you have predicted the square.
The only thing that I don't like is the PDF which is in Italian. In my opinion this should be translated in english,
So I don't use this, only the prediction of the cards.
But the trick is very good and as I said very different, and not difficult to do. It is good expained on the video.
