A BBM EXCLUSIVE DOWNLOAD - A prediction envelope is placed down on the table, and then a deck of cards is introduced and shown.  The faces are normal, but the backs of the cards each have a word written on, which you explain have all been words used to describe the trick.  There's words like 'Amazing' 'Confounding' 'Fantastic' etc

A spectator freely chooses one of the cards, and one of the words, in the fairest way possible - by simply calling stop as the cards are dealt to the table.

Let's say they end up with 'Astonishing' and the Nine of Hearts.

The prediction is opened, and unfortunately is a total miss!  It is a Five of Diamonds with the word 'Unexpected' on the back!

However, the magician suggests that you should always expect the unexpected, and slowly turns both selections over... the 'Astonishing' card is the Five of Diamonds, and the back of the Nine of Hearts has 'UNEXPECTED' written across it, making the prediction a direct hit!

What I love about BBM is that their trailers show the full trick with no cuts so you can see for yourself how it plays. Adjective does exactly what it says on the tin and I had a great time road testing it last week at a gig. It went down a storm and was one of the most talked about tricks of the evening. Highly recommended.

Good Fun Trick

This is a fun trick to do. It is very easy and requires half the cards from a normal deck and half from a gaffed deck. I used cards from a one-way deck rather than a svengali deck as suggested as I have a few of these and this works well. There is some set up that takes 15-20 minutes but it is a one-off set up and very easy to do. All in all - a very nice and easy fun to do trick.

Apple or orange freedom!

I love the idea of adjective it has clearly that some effects do not have it an event that you can never dream of it just clean and up to date when you find out how lots more things will come to your mind.. this beautiful card effect that a person of age 4 to 89 can do ! It one that you will ask to do at the end of year show and the freedom of it make you think you have seen an effect by by John Bannon or jay Sankey!

This is a really convincing trick which gets a great reaction. You do need to buy a special deck but this does give you the option of making two sets which is helpful as usually the reaction is do it again and this means you can do so with a different outcome. Also gives you ideas for different variations. Recommended.

Fun, easy to do, effect! Has the 'magician in trouble' ploy. I like it a lot.

A real nice one by Liam. A lot of fun to do. You will need about 15 to 20 min or so, to set up your deck and your ready to go.

Unexpected or impossible?
